our morning began with hearty cookies and kale/carrot juice. lunched with creatives. learned of rats in the rocks of people whom one would think had no rats at all. reminds me to be content with what i am doing. here. right now.
listening to my son talk of projects he has in mind. so much for dyslexia and being a slow to read child and a difficult speller and not a lover of all things academic. none of that even matters now. he has plans. he has vision. he knows how to find what it is he needs to learn and indeed learn it.
a late afternoon huddle on a bench to watch one son surf before the sun sets.
frustrated school moments. praying for a mind controlled by the spirit. making choices to trust an ever-present help.
we’ve got some dyslexia and slow to read and difficult spelling over here too yet passion drives hard and ways are paved…it’s so exciting to watch and be apart of when included! it takes so much trust and an open heart and hands. it’s remembering to see the whole person, head, heart and hands as a whole and appreciating diversity, like the words on our door this week ‘you don’t get harmony when everyone sings the same note’ X
