My Paris quilt has finally found itself quite done.  IMG_4647wImperfections it must have. for an imperfectionist this girl is.

one square was quilted with lines rather than swirls. can you see it?      IMG_4635w  IMG_3456w   IMG_1936bi have loved working with these fabrics from my trip to Paris. but back to old sheets it is.

this girl hasn’t another project in mind. i really don’t. the habit of being slow and present has altered my views on all things crafty for now. we will see when another vision for a quilt finds itself lopped into my head.

but under this quilt i found a boy tonight.
he declared it was awesome.
that makes my heart sing.

  1. Love, love, love it. I am in awe as it’s so beautiful and I can’t sew. :( Will you ever sell any of your creations? I would love to acquire a Tina original some day soon, seriously, let me know if you’re still on Etsy or something like that. Blessings to you and yours! :o ) <3

    • You are so kind, but I generally do not sell my quilts. they are a labor of love for those closest to my heart and i do consider them works of art with a little bit of my soul in them. Then they take on a little more soul as they are loved and dragged about and picnic-ed upon and made into forts and memories are made.

  2. Beautiful, and more so, because of the square with lines, and the little piece of fabric in the corner that is not the same.

    A Tina Ratliff original, priceless.
